In the heart of Sproutville, where dew sparkled like tiny stars and the breeze hummed gentle songs, lived a tiny green sprout named Lumi.

Lumi was small.

Very small.

She had only two little leaves and a bright, curious smile.

Every morning she looked around the garden in amazement.

The flowers bloomed taller.

The grass looked greener.

The vegetables in the patch seemed bigger every day.

Lumi tilted her tiny leaves.

“How does the garden grow so much?”

Nearby, Sunny the Sunflower turned her bright golden face toward the sky and smiled.

“That,” Sunny said warmly,

“is nature’s teamwork.”

Lumi blinked.

“Teamwork?”

Sunny swayed gently in the morning light.

“The sun gives us warmth and energy,” she explained.

“I use sunlight to help make food for myself.”

Lumi looked up.

The sun’s rays felt warm on her leaves.

Sunny continued,

“Plants need sunlight to grow strong and healthy.”

Lumi stretched happily toward the sky.

“So the sun helps us grow!”

Sunny nodded.

“Every leaf loves the light.”

Beside the garden stood Old Root, the wise old tree whose branches shaded the whole patch.

His bark was rough and warm, and his roots stretched deep into the earth.

Old Root chuckled softly.

“The magic does not only happen above the ground.”

Lumi looked down.

“What happens below?”

Old Root’s voice became gentle.

“Roots drink water from the soil.”

“They carry it all the way up through our stems and leaves.”

Lumi gasped.

“So my little roots are drinking too?”

“Of course,” said Old Root.

“Even the tiniest sprout has important roots.”

Just then, the soil beside Lumi wriggled.

Pop!

Out came Wiggly the little worm.

He was tiny, pink, and always smiling.

” Wiggly said proudly.

Lumi giggled.

“How?”

Wiggly wiggled in a happy circle.

“I move through the soil and make little tunnels.”

“This helps air and water move underground.

Lumi’s eyes widened.

“So even worms help the garden grow?”

Wiggly nodded.

“And I help make the soil soft and healthy.”

Lumi looked around the garden.

The sun above.

The roots below.

The soft soil.

The flowers.

The worms.

The old tree.

Everything was connected.

The whole garden worked together.

That evening, as the sky turned pink and golden, Lumi smiled.

She no longer felt tiny.

She felt important.

Because every part of nature had a job.

And every little part helped something grow.

As the stars began to twinkle, Sunny folded her petals.

Wiggly disappeared softly into the earth.

Old Root rustled his leaves.

Lumi curled her tiny leaves close.

The garden glowed softly in the moonlight.

And before drifting to sleep, Lumi whispered,

“Nature grows best when we grow together.”
