Rocky and the Secret of the Changing River
When a little rock named Rocky notices the river changing around him, he begins an educational journey to learn how water, wind, and time shape the natural world.

At the edge of a clear forest river, nestled between soft moss and tiny flowers, lived a little rock named Rocky.
Rocky was smooth and round.
He loved listening to the water.
Every day the river sang to him.
Sometimes softly.
Sometimes loudly.
Sometimes with a happy splash.
One morning, Rocky noticed something strange.
The water beside him was moving differently.

Leaves that once floated slowly now rushed past.
Tiny pebbles bumped against his side.
Rocky blinked.
“That’s new.”
Above him, a little dragonfly landed on a leaf.
“Good morning, Rocky,” she buzzed.
“My name is Daisy.”
Rocky looked at the fast-moving water.
“Why is the river changing?”
Daisy smiled.
“Because nature is always moving.”
She pointed with her tiny wings.
“The rain in the mountains made the river stronger.”

Rocky looked amazed.
“So the water comes from far away?”
“Yes,” Daisy said.
“The river carries water from the hills, forests, and clouds.”
Rocky thought quietly.
Later that day, the water pushed against him again.
He moved just a tiny bit.
Rocky gasped.
“I moved!”

Daisy laughed gently.
“That is what rivers do.”
“They shape the land.”
As the days passed, Rocky noticed more changes.
Wind blew leaves into the water.
Rain made the river rise.
Sunshine made it sparkle.
Tiny fish swam around him.
One day, an old turtle slowly walked by.
Rocky called out,
“Why do I keep getting smoother?”
The turtle smiled.
“Water slowly wears down rocks over time.”

“Little by little.”
“Day by day.”
“Year by year.”
Rocky looked at his smooth round edges.
“So the river is changing me?”
“Yes,” said the turtle.
“And you are changing the river too.”
Rocky blinked.
“Me?”
The turtle nodded.
“Rocks help guide the flow of water.”
“They create little paths, pools, and safe spaces for fish.”
Rocky felt proud.
He was small.
But he mattered.
Seasons passed.

Leaves turned golden.
Snow rested nearby.
Spring flowers returned.
And Rocky kept learning.
He learned that water shapes stone.
Wind moves leaves.
Rain feeds rivers.
And even the smallest part of nature belongs to something bigger.
From that day on, Rocky no longer feared change.
Because nature was always teaching.
And every day brought something new to discover.
