Captain Giggle and the Upside-Down Day
When the whole town flips upside down, Captain Giggle must use his superpower — laughter — to set things right again.
In the colorful town of Tippy-Town, nothing unusual ever happened.
Until one Tuesday morning.
Captain Giggle woke up hanging from the ceiling.
“Hmm,” he said calmly.
His bright red boots were stuck to the ceiling like glue, and his fluffy blue hair was dangling toward the floor.
He blinked.
The bed was floating above him.
The lamp was resting on the floor… upside down.
“Oh no,” he gasped dramatically.
Captain Giggle wasn’t just any person.
He was the silliest superhero in town.
His superpower?
Giggles.
Whenever something went wrong, he laughed.
And somehow, things worked out.
He carefully walked across the ceiling and peeked out the window.
The entire town was upside down.
Dogs were walking on rooftops. Birds were flapping beneath the trees. Mrs. Bumble’s bakery sign read backwards.
Children were sliding up slides instead of down them.
“This is the wiggliest problem I’ve ever seen,” Captain Giggle declared.
Just then, his best friend, Momo the Monkey, swung by — except he was swinging under the ground.
” Momo shouted.
Captain Giggle stroked his chin.
“Upside-Down Days happen when too many grumpy faces fill the air,” he explained wisely.
” Momo asked.
“Yes!
Captain Giggle looked around.
People were frustrated.
A baker couldn’t catch her floating flour.
A teacher’s chalk was drawing on the ceiling.
A cat was confused about where to nap.
” Captain Giggle announced.
He took a deep breath.
And then—
He laughed.
Not a small laugh.
A gigantic, bouncy, belly-wiggling laugh.
“HA-HA-HA-HOOO-HOO!”
The sound bounced through the air like bubbles.
Children started laughing.
Then the baker laughed.
Then the teacher laughed.
Soon the entire town was laughing so hard that something magical happened.
The sky shimmered.
The ground wobbled.
And slowly…
The town flipped back.
Feet returned to the ground.
Roofs returned to the top.
Slides became normal again.
Everyone cheered.
Momo grinned.
“So… what if it happens again?”
Captain Giggle smiled.
“Then we’ll laugh again.”
And from that day forward, whenever someone in Tippy-Town felt grumpy…
They remembered Captain Giggle’s upside-down laugh.
Because sometimes, the best way to turn things right side up…
