Luna and the Night of the Missing Stars
When the stars begin disappearing from the sky above Dream Meadow, Luna and her friends must bravely journey through the night to help a frightened little cloud find its way home.
In the soft and sleepy land of Dream Meadow, Luna was getting ready for bed.
The moon glowed gently above the hills.
Stars twinkled like tiny lanterns in the sky.
Mr. Puffs sat on the branch of the dream tree, watching over the meadow.
Nimbus curled beside the moonflowers.
Whispa stretched his fluffy tail.
Snory yawned under his sleepy cap.
Everything felt peaceful.
Then Luna looked up.
She blinked.
One star was gone.
Then another.
And another.
The sky was slowly growing darker.
“Oh no,” Luna whispered.
“The stars are disappearing.”
Mr. Puffs adjusted his little hat.
“This is most unusual.”
Nimbus looked worried.
“The meadow feels sad without them.”
Whispa’s ears twitched.
“I hear soft crying near the cloud hill.”
The friends hurried across the moonlit grass.
Behind the silver hill, they found a tiny gray cloud trembling softly.
Little raindrops dripped from its corners.
Luna knelt beside it.
“Are you okay?”
The cloud sniffled.
“I didn’t mean to hide the stars.”
Everyone looked up.
Tiny stars were caught inside the cloud’s fluffy edges.
Snory gasped.
“You collected them!”
The cloud’s voice shook.
“I was scared of the dark.”
“So I kept the stars close.”
Luna’s eyes softened.
“It’s okay to be scared.”
Mr. Puffs nodded.
“Even brave hearts feel fear.”
Whispa stepped closer.
“But kindness means helping each other through it.”
Luna gently touched the cloud.
“You don’t need to hide them.”
“We’ll stay with you tonight.”
The cloud trembled less.
“Really?”
Nimbus smiled softly.
“We can be brave together.”
The friends sat beside the little cloud.
Luna held its soft edge.
Snory leaned close like a warm pillow.
Whispa wrapped his fluffy tail around it.
Mr. Puffs told gentle bedtime stories about brave little stars.
Slowly, the cloud began to relax.
One by one, the stars floated back into the sky.
Tiny lights twinkled above the meadow once again.
The cloud looked up in wonder.
“They’re beautiful.”
Luna smiled.
“They were always safe.”
“You are too.”
The little cloud drifted happily above them, no longer afraid.
That night, Luna looked up at the bright sky and smiled.
Because courage does not mean being fearless.
Sometimes courage means being kind to someone who is afraid.
