Luna was brushing her teeth in front of the bathroom mirror while humming her favorite sleepy song.

“Hummm… hummm… hummm…”

She swished the toothbrush around and then gave the biggest yawn imaginable.

Her little bunny ears wobbled from side to side.

Luna giggled.

“That yawn was so big,” she said, “I almost swallowed my toothbrush!”

She rinsed her mouth, wiped her face with a soft towel, and walked toward her bedroom window.

Just as she climbed onto her bed, a soft glow filled the room.

The light shimmered gently outside the window like tiny floating stars.

Luna opened the curtains.

Floating quietly in the night sky was something wonderful.

It was the Dream Train.

The train was made of silver clouds and glowing stardust. Soft golden lights twinkled along its windows.

At the front of the train stood the conductor, Mr. Puffs.

He tipped his fluffy hat and smiled kindly.

“All aboard, little one,” he said.

“The Dream Train is ready for tonight’s adventure.”

A set of floating stairs slowly appeared outside Luna’s window.

Luna bounced happily across the room and climbed the glowing steps.

Inside the train, her friends were already waiting.

Snory the Bear sat in a corner seat, holding his favorite honey pot. His eyes were half closed.

“You're just in time,” Snory mumbled.

Whispa the Fox sat nearby, her soft silver tail swishing slowly.

“I saved you a cloud seat,” she said gently.

Tickle the Feather Sprite spun happily in the air above the seats.

“I tried counting feathers,” he said excitedly, “but I lost track after four!”

Everyone laughed.

With a soft whoooosh, the Dream Train began to glide through the sky.

Below them, fields of tiny glowing stars stretched across the night.

Each star sparkled softly like a little night-light.

Luna pressed her nose to the window.

” she whispered.

Mr. Puffs adjusted his conductor hat.

“Technically,” he said in a very serious voice, “those are dream sparks.

He paused.

“Or… something like that.”

The friends giggled again.

Soon the train floated toward a glowing rainbow bridge.

The rainbow hummed softly like a gentle lullaby.

Tickle spun faster and faster.

“Is it safe to jump on rainbows?”

Whispa smiled calmly.

“Only if you're a feather,” she said.

“Or very polite.”

Luna reached out the window and pretended to catch a floating piece of color.

” she said happily.

“It smells like blueberries!”

The train continued drifting across the sky until they reached a golden river of honey-colored light.

Snory suddenly sat up.

“Mmm… honey dreams,” he said with excitement.

“My favorite flavor.”

A tiny honey bubble floated through the window and popped right on his nose.

Snory licked it quickly.

“Free samples!”

Next they floated into a sky full of soft clouds that looked like pink cotton candy.

Whispa pointed with her paw.

“These are moon-bloom clouds,” she explained.

“They are very rare.”

Luna leaned forward curiously.

“Can I squish one?”

Whispa nodded carefully.

“But be gentle,” she said.

“They giggle if you tickle them.”

Luna poked one softly.

The cloud wiggled.

Then a tiny voice giggled.

“Hee hee!”

The friends laughed as the train drifted farther into the Dreamlands.

Soon they arrived at a magical place called the Feather Garden.

Soft white feathers floated everywhere like gentle snow.

Tickle spun happily through the air.

“I call this place Fluff-topia!”

Luna stretched out her arms and twirled through the floating feathers.

“It feels like a pillow fight,” she said.

“But everyone wins.”

The train continued onward until it reached Yawning Valley.

In the valley below, sleepy animals stretched and yawned together.

One rabbit yawned.

Then a fox yawned.

Then a deer yawned.

Mr. Puffs tried to stay serious.

But suddenly—

“Yaaaawwwn…”

He yawned too.

The others began yawning as well.

“Yaaaawn…”

Even the Dream Train made a tiny sleepy sound.

“Chooo-yawn.”

Everyone burst into quiet giggles.

Ahead of them, a glowing tunnel appeared in the sky.

The entrance shimmered with tiny sleepy lights.

Mr. Puffs spoke in a soft, gentle voice.

“We are entering the Dream Tunnel.”

“It’s time for dream travelers to close their eyes.”

The lights inside the tunnel twinkled slowly like peaceful lullabies.

Luna’s eyes began to feel heavy.

The train slowed down as they reached a soft floating cloud.

Mr. Puffs opened the door.

“Your stop, Luna.”

Luna floated gently down onto her own fluffy dream cloud.

She stretched her arms and snuggled into the softness.

“See you tomorrow,” she whispered sleepily.

“Dream Guardians.”

The Dream Train slowly drifted away into the stars.

Its lights twinkled softly in the distance.

And Luna drifted peacefully into the sweetest dream of all.
