Every night, just as the moon climbed into the sky, the Dream Guardians began their work.
Luna hopped softly across the clouds.
Mr. Puffs adjusted his tiny hat and checked his list.
Nimbus floated gently, carrying dreams like fluffy pillows.
Whispa tiptoed through the air, keeping everything quiet.
Snory… was already half asleep.
Everything was perfectly timed.

dream guardians delivering dreams

Dreams went out.
Children fell asleep.
All was calm.
Until one night…
Nothing happened.
No dreams floated down.
No sleepy yawns spread across the world.
Just wide-open eyes everywhere.
Luna blinked.
“That’s not right.”
Mr. Puffs checked his list again.
“Delivery time is correct.”
Nimbus looked up.
“…why are all the dreams still up there?”
They all looked toward the sky.

And gasped.
Hundreds of glowing dreams were stuck in one place.
Not floating.
Not moving.
Just… bumping into each other.
Like a giant glowing traffic jam.
Whispa whispered,
“They’re stuck.”
Snory opened one eye.
“…how do dreams get stuck?”
Mr. Puffs flew closer.
He squinted.
Then gasped dramatically.
“Oh dear.”
“What?” Luna asked.
Mr. Puffs pointed.
“There’s a dream… parked sideways.”

dream traffic jam pancake blocking

Everyone froze.
A big fluffy dream shaped like a dancing pancake…
Was blocking the entire dream path.
Nimbus blinked slowly.
“…that is a very large pancake.”
Whispa floated closer.
“It’s not moving.”
Snory yawned.
“Maybe it’s… sleepy.”
Luna stepped forward.
“Then we need to gently wake it up.”
They all approached carefully.
“Excuse me,” Luna said softly.
No response.
Mr. Puffs cleared his throat.
“Ahem! Dream traffic is delayed!”
Nothing.
Nimbus gently nudged it.
The pancake dream wobbled slightly…
Then stopped again.
Whispa leaned in.
“It’s stuck because everything is too crowded,” she whispered.
Luna nodded.
“Then we don’t need to push it.”
“We need to calm everything down.”
Mr. Puffs blinked.
“…that actually sounds very reasonable.”
Luna took a deep breath.
“Everyone… slow down.”

dreams slowing down calming

Nimbus softened his floating.
Whispa quieted the air.
Snory… lay down immediately.
The glowing dreams began to drift more slowly.
Less bumping.
Less rushing.
The pancake dream wobbled again…
Then slowly…
Turned.
And drifted forward.
The path opened.

dreams flowing smoothly night calm

One by one, the dreams began to flow again.
Soft.
Gentle.
Quiet.
Below, children began to yawn.
Eyes closed.
Breathing slowed.
Sleep returned.
Mr. Puffs checked his list proudly.
“Dream delivery resumed.”
Nimbus smiled.
“All because we slowed things down.”
Snory yawned again.
“I helped by lying down.”
Whispa smiled softly.
“That is… your special skill.”
Luna looked up at the calm sky.
“Sometimes,” she said,
“things don’t need to move faster.”
“They just need to move… gently.”
And from that night on, whenever dreams felt crowded or rushed…
The Dream Guardians remembered:
Slow and calm
Always leads the way to sleep.
