Professor Puddle and the Sleepy Glow Garden
When the glowing flowers in Gigglewood begin to fade at bedtime, Professor Puddle and his friends discover that kindness can help the whole forest shine again.

In the heart of Gigglewood, where the mushrooms yawned at moonrise and the trees whispered sleepy giggles, Professor Puddle was preparing for bedtime.
The stars twinkled softly above the laboratory.
The glass tubes bubbled more quietly than usual.
Even the little machines gave sleepy beeps.
Outside, the Glow Garden usually shimmered every night with soft golden flowers.
But tonight…
something was wrong.
The flowers were dim.

Very dim.
Their warm bedtime glow had almost disappeared.
Professor Puddle adjusted his round goggles.
“Oh dear,” he whispered.
“That’s not right at all.”
Soon his friends arrived.
Molly Mushroom blinked sleepily.
“The garden looks sad.”
Wiggles the Worm wiggled gently through the soil.
“It feels cold.”
Benny Bumblebug buzzed softly.
“Where did the glow go?”
Tilly Turtle looked up at the fading flowers.
“They usually help Gigglewood fall asleep.”
Professor Puddle knelt beside the soil.
He touched one of the flowers.
Instead of glowing warmly, it drooped.
Then he noticed something.
A tiny little flower bud was hidden behind a stone.
It was bent sideways and covered in fallen leaves.
Professor Puddle smiled softly.
“I think I know.”
Molly tilted her cap.
“What happened?”
Professor Puddle pointed gently.
“The other flowers stopped glowing because this little one was left in the dark.”
Everyone looked closer.
The tiny flower was all alone.
Covered.
Cold.
Unable to reach the moonlight.
Benny gasped.
“It needs help.”
Professor Puddle nodded.
“Kindness helps things grow.”

Together, the friends carefully moved the leaves away.
Wiggles loosened the soil.
Tilly gently nudged the stone aside.
Benny fluttered above and fanned the flower with warm little breezes.
Molly whispered softly,
“You’re not alone anymore.”
Slowly…
very slowly…
the tiny flower began to glow.
A soft golden light spread from its petals.
Then something magical happened.
One by one, all the other flowers in the garden began glowing too.
The whole garden shimmered with warm bedtime light.
The mushrooms glowed.
The trees sparkled.
The paths glimmered softly.
Gigglewood felt peaceful again.
Professor Puddle smiled.
“Sometimes kindness spreads just like light.”
The friends sat together in the glowing garden.

Above them, the stars twinkled.
Around them, the flowers glowed.
And all of Gigglewood slowly drifted into sleep.
From that night on, everyone remembered:
when one little heart is cared for,
the whole world shines brighter.
